Testimonials from our customers

Wow! Great REAL bread. Actually made by a human instead of a machine.

We'd been trying to go there for weeks, hoping for pastries (the sign says "Bakery"), but it's always closed at a time when my girlfriend and I are hungry for pastries. Happened by last Saturday around 10am and it was open. I went in didn't find many pastries, but lots of bread. No two rolls looked alike (a good thing in my book).

Bought a big loaf of Rosemary bread ($3). Took it home and ate it at lunch with some leftover beef stew. Awesome! Been back one other time for an olive bread loaf (also $3). Excellent.

Good bread that has real flavor and is still hot and soft. Would give Lonzo's more stars if I could figure out what the hell the hours are. I've been by there several times during the posted hours of operation, and it's dark and closed. Go figure. If you're driving down Washington and see that Lonzo's is open, stop and spend $3 for a loaf of bread. This is definitely one of the best deals in the "new" (i.e. trendy and gentrified) Culver City.

This isn't a coffee shop posing as a bakery, but the real deal. You can get a nice baguette of bread, fresh croissant, awesome cinnamon roll... whatever. I walk by almost every day and the smell alone brings me in!
